Why we made it
We name freedom so we can protect it.
Babies and toddlers deserve an introduction to Juneteenth grounded in Black joy. We made this book to begin naming, celebrating, and protecting freedom early.
Black joy on every page
Community photos of families celebrating together.
Ways to celebrate
Sharing stories, cooking, dancing and helping neighbors.
Name and celebrate freedom
Sights, sounds, tastes, and traditions help little ones recognize what freedom can feel like.
Praise for Juneteenth
