Why Work at Little Feminist

Little Feminist (littlefeminist.com) is a book subscription (for 0-9-year-olds) that features strong female characters and Black, Indigenous, people of color because the majority of children’s books don’t. Book publishers say they aren’t publishing diverse books because of low demand. We see infinite demand, and we’re working with teachers, librarians, parents, and kids to create the best children’s book club ever.

Opening: CONTENT DIRECTOR

What We Need

Our Content Director manages Little Feminist’s Book Selection Team, overseeing the process of each and every monthly book pick for our four age ranges (0-2-years-old, 2-4-years-old, 4-7-years-old, and 7-9-years-old).

Once our monthly book picks are finalized with our Logistics Manager, you will lead our 3-4 Content Developers to create assets accompanying each book – this includes (1) bookmark(s) with family discussion questions, (2) a hands-on activity, and (3) a parent letter. Our Content Director works with Little Feminist’s 1-2 designers to turn our assets into printed materials.

Our Content Director also integrates our book club picks and activities into our blog, social media, and e-newsletters.

Like all members of Little Feminist, you are detail-oriented, extraordinarily growth-minded (meaning you love learning new things and improving your skillset), and are committed to spreading all forms of diversity.
